Donegal Elopement
Nick and Kelly travelled over 30 hours from Brisbane, Australia to the other side of the world, a remote part of Ireland for their secret Donegal elopement.
They told nobody about their plans. Both CrossFit athletes taking a break from training, they planned to travel around Europe for six months and secretly get married while on their trip. How romantic is that!
The whole day was absolute perfection! Starting their day with preparations in the 5-star Lough Eske castle, followed by a ceremony in a secluded forest. Next were adventures into the mountains to hiketo the best views. From there, we went down to the coast to pop champaign with a view of a caste. They had their first dance on a beach and wet their feet in the sea. Finally, they finished their day with the most magnificent sunset at Slieve League, some of the highest cliffs in Ireland and of course pints of Guinness in a traditional Irish Pub.
What Nick and Kelly said about their Donegal elopement:
“We travelled from Brisbane, Australia to elope in Ireland and we honestly couldn’t be more stoked with our choice of Shauna for our special day!! Shauna curated the most perfect itinerary for us, capturing everything on our wish list and the photos she delivered are just magical. Shauna’s approach made us feel at ease from the get go and the day went so smoothly and we had so much fun! We couldn’t be happier and can’t thank Shauna enough for making our elopement day the best day of our lives.”
